Employers across all Australian states and territories were formally recognised by Defence as part of the new ADF Cadet Staff Employer Recognition Program.

The program allows Defence to formally acknowledge the businesses and workplaces supporting cadet staff through leave and other support as volunteers. It also gives staff the opportunity to thank their employers for their support.

•    Salute For Service Australia Ltd – Queensland

•    Arafura Catering Equipment – Northern Territory
•    Queensland Public Trustee – Queensland

Following the launch of the ADF Cadet Staff Employer Recognition Program, 63 employers around Australia were recognised in its first year. Keep an eye out for the 2026 awards later this year!
