The Australian Navy Cadets (ANC) is continually evolving to meet the needs of Australia's youth and community expectations. The life skills that Cadets learn complement their academic achievements and stand them in good stead for rewarding careers.

Supported by the Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Navy Cadets is a leading provider of youth development with approximately 2,600 cadets and 81 Training Ships across Australia and open to young Australians of all genders and abilities. With a focus on the maritime domain, cadets participate in numerous exciting and rewarding activities, both on land and the water, with the key objectives of building self-confidence and developing teamwork and leadership skills.

Integral to the cadet program are the ANC adult volunteers who lead, manage, motivate and train the cadets. ANC adult volunteers are drawn from the community, are enthusiastic and friendly and have a keen interest in positively developing and shaping the youth of Australia. With training available for adult volunteers, this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for people who wish to support and develop Navy cadets.
